Explore the tastes of the Caribbean with Island inspired dishes.

 

Prices will vary depending on course selection and location (STT or STJ). Pricing for dinners is done per person starting at $135 based on a 4-course menu. If there is an allergy/dislike to certain ingredients, the chef can substitute any item. You can also add additional apps and sides if you like. A 20% gratuity added to all parties.

 

*This service also includes: grocery selection, preparation, private chef and assistant, table set up, clean up, trash removal and travel for St. Thomas only. St. John will have travel fee

Caribbean born and raised, at an early age Chef Salma curated her culinary skills inside her father’s restaurant in the town of Portsmouth on the island of Dominica. It was there she was taught how to infuse the many different spices her father used on his Indian inspired menu. Cooking became part of Salma, and now she shares that passion with others. Inspired by the recipes of her father, infused with her own new ideas, Salma brings her own flavor to the table.

 

Salma continuously strives to perfect her skills in the kitchen and is constantly curious of other cuisines and how to incorporate them into each unique dish she creates. Every dish is filled with the flavors of her culture and cooked with her passion for the craft. Salma measures with her eyes, touch, and taste to create and cook divine dishes that entice the taste buds.

Ready to experience what Chef Salma creates in the kitchen? We ask for a deposit to hold the date(s) you are requesting. The deposit will be 50% of the total bill.

Dive in catering and events understands things do happen. That is why we give you up until 7 days of the event to cancel with full deposit returned. Notice given 7 days or less, only 50% of the deposit will be returned.
